Also, it looks like Bryan Singer has finally figured out a way to bring Nightcrawler back into the X-Men movies. Singer used Instagram to announce that Kodi Smit-Mcphee (the voice of ParaNorman and Tolly on Gallipoli) will become the blue elf.

Singer's said before that he's wanted to bring the character back to the big screen after Alan Cumming's single outing as Kurt Wagner in X2. In March of 2014, Singer told Cine Premiere (translation via First Showing):

I'm considering Gambit and potentially a young Nightcrawler for 'Apocalypse,' I was going to have Nightcrawler [in 'Days of Future Past'] and even wrote a scene, but I felt that we were forcing too many mutants into the story.

The "considerations" have become more than that — we have Channing Tatum in a Gambit movie slated for next year and rumors keep suggesting we might see the character in Apocalypse. And now we have our Nightcrawler. Our very young Nightcrawler, as Smit-Mcphee is currently eighteen years-old. Here's the photo Singer put on Instagram, with the caption "Excited to welcome @kodismitmcphee to the cast of #XmenApocalypse as young #Nightcrawler. @alexvaughanphoto":

Cool. Now cast a young Bobby Drake and confuse the hell out of everyone
