If you were hoping that Warner Bros' big budget version of anime classic Robotech was going to be... well, good, then the studio's choice of writers may be upsetting. Smallville creators (and vets of The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor and Shanghai Noon) Alfred Gough and Miles Millar have been hired to adapt the Japanese mech epic and, according to the Hollywood Reporter, "add geek cred."
