It's almost summer movie season! The time when Hollywood releases a flood of giant tentpole movies, each of them with massive budgets and blockbuster hopes. And with huge, star-studded movies coming out almost every weekend, some of them are bound to fail. Every summer, there's at least one film like Speed Racer or Green Lantern, that costs a bundle and sinks without trace.

We'll be doing our complete summer movie preview next week, but for now we'd like you to place your bets. Which huge summer movie will be a surprise bomb? And please note that by voting for things, you're saying that A) You think it'll bomb and B) you think that'll be a surprise. We actually left G.I. Joe: Retaliation off the list, because we don't think anybody would be surprised if it fails.

And yes, it might be hard for any movie to fail as badly as John Carter. So with that out of the way, let's vote!

As much as it pains me to say it, considering that I think so far it looks pretty promising, The Amazing Spider-Man. I don't think it'll be an outright, GL-esque flop, but I don't think it'll do as well as Sony will want it to, even though I hope it does. The hype train barely has any traction yet - even though that second trailer seemed to bring doubtful people around - and it's sandwiched between two Superheroic behemoths in The Avengers and TDKR, both of which are guaranteed surefire blockbuster hits. People may get superheroed out and opt to skip Spidey, or, as quite a few people I know have said when I mention it, think that it's too soon to do a new Spider-Man interpretation yet and just not want to bother seeing the Origin story again.

I really, really hope this isn't the case though.
