Kevin Feige sat down with MTV, confirming that while Captain Marvel isn't in the film, there was an early version of the script where she was, before she was cut for story reasons:
“It didn’t feel like the time,” Feige said. “We didn’t want to introduce her fully formed flying in a costume before you knew who she was or how she came to be.”
He also sat down with Collider, flatly telling them that Spider-Man would definitely not appear in a post-credits sequence for the film.
Joss Whedon talks about the process of cutting the movie down from its first 3+ hour runtime:
Whedon’s first cut of Age of Ultron came in at nearly three and a half hours; eventually, he and Feige worked together to slice the film down to 142 minutes. “There's one or two things that I'm unhappy about nothaving in there, but they're small,” said Whedon.
“Is it perfect? It is not,” said Whedon. “Is it me? It's so baldly, nakedly me. To do something that is as personal as this movie is—on that budget, for a studio that needs a summer tentpole—is an extraordinary privilege.”
“Ultron's pain is very, very real to me,” said Whedon. “He can't control the wayhis pain makes him behave.” Whedon pauses, his soft voice grown evensofter. “And I can relate to that.”

Feige has been busy on the Age of Ultron press junket. /Film has comments from him offering updates on some of the "Phase 3" movies:
Thor 3 is being scripted right now and I think we get a draft soon. Particularly [Chris] Hemsworth is hounding me during this junket so I’m going to push the writers [Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost] to hurry.
Black Panther same thing. I have some director meetings set in the next few weeks once [Avengers: Age of Ultron] gets out the door. And casting is already under way in many ways. Some of which you know about, some of which you don’t.
Inhumans is way down the line.
And Captain Marvel:
Captain Marvel, we’re ready to announce writers hopefully in the next week or two.
Following the reveal that John Connor is the bad guy in yesterday's trailer, an interview with the Independent has stoked rumours that Matt Smith's role in the film is equally villainous — specifically that he's playing a new Terminator that can Brainwash people, the role expanding beyond Genisys into two additional movies. It speculatory on their behalf though, so take it with a pinch of salt:
Since completing Lost River, Smith headed to New Orleans to enjoy his first taste of studio excess, Terminator Genisys. “I love those movies[and] I’m very excited to be a part of those films,” he says, cautiously. “Obviously I can’t talk in too much detail about my role.”His role has been largely kept under wraps, though rumours have it that he’s playing a T-5000 – an advanced Terminator with the ability to brainwash humans.
With his character said to have a bigger presence in two further planned instalments, it caps a remarkable rise for Smith.
The movie will be the first film to shoot with IMAX's 2D cameras. Around fifteen minutes will be shot using the new cameras. [Variety]

Ben McKenzie discusses the finale:
I was shocked at how far we went. It is just jammed. I'm actually, hopefully, going to see a cut of it on Wednesday with Danny Cannon, who directed the finale which — it was great to get Danny back, who did the pilot and really helped create, along with production staff, the look and feel of the show. The finale, it's almost chaos. I mean, not everybody lives. Many people do not emerge, even if they do live, whole, let's say, from the experience. Yep, there's guns blazing and cars — it's just crazy.
