Completionism is a disease that forces some people to finish something even though it has gone horribly wrong. This is why I have seen all of Charmed. And why my colleague James Whitbrook shudders when you mention Torchwood: Miracle Day. So, we ask you, what’s the worst show you watched every minute of? Extra points for length of suck.
God I hated this show. Neelix was annoying. Kess was too by association. The Kazon were never menacing, just a bully that Janeway refused to dispatch because she always made the wrong choice for plot reasons. Usually that’s the XO’s job but, oh wait, Chayote did that too. Even after they turned Seska, into a stupid, stereotypical, psychobitch by having her get pregnant and say it was his child...which he bought completely because he was an idiot. And I hated Seska even before that.
But enough about the awful characters. The writers never used the fact that they were a gazillion miles from home and things should be breaking and in a constant state of disrepair/crisis which would have constantly forced them to maybe compromise their ethics except for “The Year of Hell” which they then magicked away because why would you want an actual decent concept that you could mine forever on your show?
I don’t even need to bring up the space salamanders, do I?
And for some reason, I watched every episode.
