A truly great work of art can win you over even if you're seeing it under horrible conditions. But some conditions are so horrible, they push the limits of your ability to see a work's qualities. You have a migraine. There are screaming kids. It's the in-flight movie on a crashing plane. What's the worst conditions you've seen a great show or movie under?
Please include a picture, piece of artwork, clip, poster, or other image for your chosen movie or TV show. And please mention the name, and explain the horrible conditions you saw it in. Thanks!
Top image: Robocop. I saw it years after it came out, whilst traveling on a ferry from Russia to Japan. It was dubbed — ineptly — in Russian, and had Japanese subtitles. And I was totally transfixed.
