Three new cast members have been announced. Eka Darville will play Malcom, Jessica's neighbour, Erin Moriarty will play Hope, a client of Alias Investigations, and Wil Traval will play a Police Officer. [ The Wrap]
A few episode titles have gotten out thanks to information from the British Board of Film Classification. Episode 1 will be called 'Into The Ring', Episode 2 'Cut Man', and Episode 3 'Rabbit In A Snow Storm'. The BBFC tags all three of the episodes with warnings for strong violence. [ Comic Book Movie]
- They have to pitch season 2 in May and will be told then if they're cancelled. (so no early cancellation announcement coming)
- The contract covers the cast till mid-June so another network could pick them up if they're cancelled.
- Foreign sales are apparently going good.
- Social media related to the show is increasing.
It's not much, but it's some hope for the series.
Michelle Gomez's incarnation of The Master, Missy, and Jemma Redgrave's Kate Stewart will return in the first two episodes of Season 9, a two parter by Steven Moffat called 'The Magician's Apprentice' and 'The Witch's Familiar'. [ Coming Soon]

Meanwhile, Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) and Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) are each forced to make a difficult decision.
At Mount Weather, Jasper (Devon Bostick) and Maya (guest star Eve Harlow) witness a horrible act, Bellamy (Bob Morley) follows through on a promise and Cage (guest star Johnny Whitworth) goes public with powerful information.

Maggie comes into the barn announcing to the group, "This is Aaron." Daryl immediately approaches the barn door and makes sure there is no one outside. He then conducts a nice little TSA frisk on Aaron. Maggie states that she has already searched Aaron and removed his weapon.
The group, wary of this stranger, surrounds Aaron with their weapons pointed at him. Awkward Aaron offers an awkward "hi". Rick asks Maggie for Aaron's weapon. She hands over his pistol and officer Rick assertively checks it for ammo.
Rick asks Aaron if he wants something from them. Sasha says that he has a camp that he wants the group to "audition" for. Aaron explains that he believes the group would be valuable additions to his community.

UNLIKELY ALLIANCES — When a dangerous run-in with a coven of vengeful witches forces Rebekah (guest star Maisie Richardson-Sellers) to align with Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), they quickly discover that the body Rebekah is currently inhabiting has a checkered past. Upon learning that Rebekah is in danger, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) seeks out a respected elder witch, Josephine (guest star Meg Foster), in the hopes she might offer her assistance. Meanwhile, tensions build when Klaus (Joseph Morgan) clashes with Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) over how best to protect baby Hope from Finn (Yusuf Gatewood). Elsewhere, Freya (guest star Riley Voelkel), convinces Finn to bring her to Mikael (guest star Sebastian Roche), the father she hasn't seen in over a thousand years.
