Lots of by-gone technologies pull their own little cults of fierce nostalgia around them (yeah, we see you over there, record player people and telegram fans.) But which old technology deserves its current following the least?

Whether it's phone booths (inconvenient and frequently broken), typewriters (seriously, just how often does that ribbon need to be changed?) or something else entirely, make your argument in the comments for why that particular brand of tech-nostalgia would die-out quickest.

With all due respect to Soundwave, Ravage, and Laserbeak, I'm kinda glad that cassettes are gone.

Although I have to admit that they were pretty good as a means to share music with other people and to make mixtapes. You really didn't find anything as convenient until CD burners became cheap.
