Teach failure. Theories that are no longer accepted. Ongoing debates over interpretation of data. Evolutionary deadends. Show that science doesn't always come up with the right answers, but that it's a process of constantly testing observations and reevaluating assumptions.

It will teach kids to be skeptical about received truths, how to approach a problem scientifically, and that failure isn't the end of the world.
