The best thing about Ethan Hawke is every few years he makes some totally bizarro, low-budget scifi movie that is usually pretty clever, and always a little bit insane. The next one on Hawke's list: Predestination. And we have absolutely no idea what is happening in this movie.

Here's the basic premise:

"Predestination chronicles the life of a Temporal Agent (Ethan Hawke) sent on an intricate series of time-travel journeys designed to prevent future killers from committing their crimes. Now, on his final assignment, the Agent must stop the one criminal that has eluded him throughout time and prevent a devastating attack in which thousands of lives will be lost."

Sounds simple, right? Now watch all these clips and tell me what's really happening, because I am out. Anyway, looks like quality Hawke low-budget fun. I'll watch it.
