This stunning house is a labyrinth

This is the coolest looking house we've seen in ages. The RGR House, designed by archiNOW!, features a "labyrinth-like" facade.

According to archiNOW!'s project notes:

The project seeks a complexity of volumes through the composition of simple elements; the synthetic result is the overlapping of two items from the antithetical nature that interact in strict harmony.

It's not just aimed at looking cool — this design is meant to be energy-efficient, packing a lot into a small space. The result is easier to heat and cool. Check out some more photos below, and a ton more over at Freshome.

I work in an engineering office (as the IT department for the company), the guys here would hate that house. But that aside, I have always LOVED unique architecture (something my friends say makes me weird... that I enjoy looking at building and structures and can say "that's an amazing looking building, it's quite lovely to look at") and I absolutely love the look of this house. I think I just found my future dream home. Throw in a panic room (for when I'm feeling especially paranoid) and all I would have to say is...

EDIT: And might I add, Charlie, you always seem to post the articles I get an extra kick out of! Right on! More unique buildings, please!
