There are some advantages to coming on things late: You never have to wait for sequels to show up and you always have plenty of people to mull over any surprises with. Still, sometimes nothing can beat the excitement of being able to see something when it's brand new and fresh.
Maybe you would have liked to digest Sherlock Holmes stories bit-by-bit in The Strand instead of reading them all at once in a collection. Maybe you would have liked to have first caught Star Wars in theaters with an audience who was also seeing it for the first time. Maybe you wish you could have seen The Twilight Zone as it was broadcast episode-by-episode, and not as part of a midnight marathon. Tell us in the comments what you would have like to have caught when it was brand new and why.
