We're already eagerly awaiting the third book in Ann Leckie's Ancillary trilogy, Ancillary Mercy, due this October. But meanwhile, the award-winning space opera author is already working on her next books after that.

According to a press release from Orbit Books, Leckie just sold them a new book, set in the Ancillary universe, to be published in fall 2017. And another book, coming sometime after that, will be an unrelated science fiction story — meaning, a whole new universe. Can't wait!
DISCUSSION
Brilliant! Wouldn't have minded a fourth book about Justice of Toren (though Sword was a bit lackluster), but I'll accept something else in the same universe.
