There are some major updates from the set of Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters, including the casting of Michael K. Williams, Andy Garcia, Cecily Strong, Matt Walsh... and news anchor Pat Kiernan. Feig has also been having fun on Twitter, giving out more info about the new Proton Pack.

But first, the actors. According to The Wrap, Andy Garcia is playing the Mayor of New York, a role played by David Margulies in the 1984 original. (To recap though, this new Ghostbusters is a completely new story from the Ivan Reitman original and stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon.) Williams, best known for his role as Omar on The Wire, is a character named “Hawkins,” Strong (of Saturday Night Live fame who had previously been rumored) is an unknown character, Walsh (currently on Veep) is “Rourke” and Kiernan, a newscaster for NY1, will play himself.

This casting tells us virtually nothing about the movie—just that Feig continues to get very funny, very capable actors for the reboot, which comes out July 22, 2016.

Over the weekend too, Feig was engaging with Ghostbusters fans on Twitter who were hoping to cosplay as the new team. He dropped a few new looks at the proton pack and blaster before laying out a detailed schematic of the pack. Here are the highlights.
