Watch The Splinter Monster Shimmy, Just Don't Touch

Splinter is one of the great scary movies coming out during the spooky pre-Halloween season. We've located a long interview with director Toby Wilkins who explains the ins and outs of the movie's parasitic creature, which roams the forests of Oklahoma. In this clip, you can see the creature, made up of people bits, bear bits and forest pieces lunge and infect those around it hoping to populate its species. The movie will have a special preview on HDNET this October 29.

I call bullshit. There are no forests in Oklahoma. I know. I grew up there. The best you can hope for is a large swath of scrub brush and stunted trees. Otherwise it's just rolling hills and open prairie.

This looks like it might be a fun little monster romp though.
