Watch four clips of the magical water city from Beasts of the Southern Wild

Here's a taste of Benh Zeitlin's Sundance success story, Beasts of the Southern Wild. We've absolutely fallen in love with the water city dubbed "The Bathtub" and all of its seafood-eating citizens. Here's the synopsis:

Faced with her father's fading health and environmental changes that release an army of prehistoric creatures called aurochs, six-year-old Hushpuppy leaves her Delta-community home in search of her mother.

Beasts of the Southern Wild hits theaters on July 5.

Miyazaki + a touch of Terry Gilliam + The Deep American South = Beasts of the Southern Wild. Plus, Hushpuppy is the cutest little girl in years. I can't be the only one who wants to squeeze her.
