Remember when the apex of what computers could do to morph faces was represented in Michael Jackson's "Black or White" music video? Yeah, things have changed, and with jaw-dropping results.

In Face Hacking, a stunning meld of real-time face tracking and 3D animation, artist Nobumichi Asai creates incredible illusions using living faces. The two men become cats, robots, and even share an eerie Face/Off moment in which they completely swap features. As an aside, the fact that the below performance video was shot as part of what appears to be a gaggle of Japanese talk-show hosts only adds to its weird appeal.
