Alas, not every transforming robot is up to snuff. Plenty of transforming bots probably tried out for both the Autobot and Decepticon teams, and Worth 1000 asked fans to dream up all of the "Rejected Transformers" that might not have been flashy enough to be more than meets the eye. We've put some of the rejects in a gallery. It really is kind of sad that the machete-wielding shopping cart wasn't bot enough to be on a Transformer team. A full gallery of wooden robots, and a Transformer that appears to take shape from a marching band, await you.
I'd really like to see a Dyson vacuum cleaner go berzerk and start ripping up some sweet suburban homes — it seems like something Michael Bay would allow as well. Honestly, though, for some reason these transformer rejects remind me more of Maximum Overdrive than Transformers, maybe due to the fact that many of the new bots are created from simple objects. Check out the rest of the awesome robo-gallery at Worth1000. Which household appliance would you like to see come alive and join the Transformers? [Worth 1000 via Cinematical]
