Uh, what is Samwell thinking? What is Arya thinking? What is Margaery thinking behind her (and her husband’s) sudden conversion? I’m not sure, but we still got the unexpected return of a certain, long-missing Stark, and that’s pretty cool. More to come in tomorrow’s recap.

I get that the show likes closing on dragons, but I think Arya blowing out the candle would have been a better capper to the episode. Dany yelling at people about how she’s going to conquer the world is something that we’ve seen before. Arya turning her back on the faceless men and The Waif being sent after her? That’s new and menacing.
