Fans of the greatest post-apocalyptic movies of them all, the Mad Max trilogy, met in the desert for three days to reenact life in a radioactive oil-thirsty post-apocalyptic wasteland. And we've got the bloody, sexy photos to prove it.

We told you about Wasteland Weekend — three days of Mad Max-style carnage and post-apocalyptic punkness — a while ago. But now we've got some exclusive pics of the crazy festival, which featured a special video message from Mad Max director George Miller and the crew of Mad Max 4. Check out the cars, the fire, the weapons and the leather as people struggle to survive after the collapse of civilization. This could be your world soon.

Was his involvement in the follow-up a rumour? I don't see it on IMDB.
