Jessica Jones comes to Netflix, Man in the High Castle streams on Amazon, and Marceline the Vampire Queens gets her own four-part miniseries on Adventure Time! A deadly Grant Morrison character swoops in on Gotham, a Jim Henson project is thawed in time for Thanksgiving, and Clara’s future is revealed on Doctor Who! All this, and Livewire in live-action! It’s on this week’s TV!

Adventure Time (8PM, CARTOON)

Tomb it may concern: The four-night Marceline miniseries begins!

Gotham (8PM, FOX)

“Gordon and Barnes continue cleaning up Gotham, and Gordon comes face-to-face with one of the city’s most dangerous hitmen, Eduardo Flamingo (guest star Raul Castillo). Meanwhile, Nygma and Penguin cross paths again, and Bruce pressures Galavan into handing over the name of his parents’ murderer.”

I don’t think anyone could have guessed that the first live-action depiction of a Grant Morrison character would be EDUARDO FLAMINGO, but here we are—and I’m incredibly excited to see the fuchsia face-eater in action.

Knock it out of the park, Mr. Castillo!

Supergirl (8PM, CBS)

Brit Morgan (The Budd Boetticher-loving Lacey Thornfield from The Middleman) debuts as LIVEWIRE, the shock jock DJ turned electric phantom! Will the episode be as good as Superman Adventures #5, the best Livewire story ever?

Wander Over Yonder (8:30, DISNEY XD)

“Wander convinces a down-on-his-luck villain to spend a day looking on the bright side of things instead of collecting the souls of others.”

That sounds fun. Followed by a new series called Pickle & Peanut—the pilot to which is called “Sewer Shark”, like the Sega CD game!

Minority Report (9PM, FOX)

Not sure why the promo says, “in two weeks”, since sources indicate it is definitely airing tonight… but if it is, it’s out of my hands. I am but a Watcher, committed to observe, but never interfere.

Blindspot (10PM, NBC)

“Jane and Weller go undercover as a world-class assassin couple to prevent deadly information from getting into the wrong hands. The intimate assignment draws them closer than ever.”

How do you “go undercover” as a world-class assassin couple? Are there power couples in the murder game, respected by their peers but unknown to the rest of us? Is that their Ecks vs. Sever-inspired cover story?

Anyway, it’s the penultimate episode before the fall finale.

Adventure Time (8PM, CARTOON)

Why did the vampire go to the hospital? He wanted his GHOULstones removed.

The Flash (8PM, CW)

No longer content with being a sewer gorilla, Grodd decides to kidnap Caitlin Snow.

The Muppets (8PM, ABC)

“Scooter books his long time TV crush, Chelsea Handler, who really heats things up both on ‘Up Late’ and in Scooter’s personal life. “

Scooter Loves Chelsea Handler: An Apocryphal Tale of the Muppets.

(Following the second reboot next year).

iZombie (9PM, CW)

“Liv consumes the brains of a death-obsessed illusionist who was murdered in cold blood during a magicians’ convention in Seattle.”

I bet I’m going to like this episode.

Agents of SHIELD (9PM, ABC)

“The S.H.I.E.L.D. team discovers dangerous truths about the ATCU, and Ward’s plans to destroy S.H.I.E.L.D. take a surprising twist.”

SHIELD takes on the Alabama Teacher’s Credit Union!

Scream Queens (9PM, FOX)

“Denise does little to calm the Kappas’ fears when she spins a terrifying ghost story. Meanwhile, Hester’s shocking announcement pushes Chanel to the edge, and a familiar face returns to campus as the Red Devil claims another victim.”

Limitless (10PM, CBS)

Ah, it’s a—it’s a funny one.

Adventure Time (8PM, CARTOON)

What’s Dracula’s favorite ice cream? Vein-illa.

Arrow (8PM, CW)

“Team Green Arrow’s ongoing battle with Damien Darhk is complicated by a shocking revelation. Thea’s bloodlust returns and she loses control in front of Alex.”

Supernatural (9PM, CW)

Another kooky season eleven storyline sees the Supernatural Bros. tackle the Bunny Man myth of Fairfax, Virginia. Read all about it.

Star Wars: Rebels (9:30PM, DISNEY XD)

Hey, it’s Gina Torres! She voices a new character, in a neat helmet no less.

American Horror Story (10PM, SYFY)

“Will Drake’s renovations uncover one of the Hotel’s greatest secrets. John undergoes psychiatric evaluation. The Countess learns the fate of her first love. “

Moonbeam City (10:30PM, COMEDY)

Another new episode of Moonbeam City— yeah, they made a lot of these upfront!

Teen Titans Go! (6PM, CARTOON)

Starfire learns a valuable lesson about Black Friday.

Adventure Time (8PM, CARTOON)

What’s Noserfatu’s favorite Elisha Cuthbert movie? The Girl Necks Door.

The Vampire Diaries (8PM, CW)

Well sir, looks like it’s Thanksgiving here over at the Vampire Diaries.

Heroes Reborn (8PM, NBC)

The fall finale!

The Originals (9PM, CW)

“With a dire prophecy looming over them, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) invite Lucien (guest star Andrew Lees), Tristan (guest star Oliver Auckland) and Aurora (guest star Rebecca Breeds) to a Thanksgiving gathering in an attempt to negotiate a truce. When Aurora reveals that she has powerful leverage over Klaus, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Freya (Riley Voelkel) take matters into their own hands, leading to a deadly three-way confrontation. Elsewhere, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) are forced to take drastic measures when they realize Davina (Danielle Campbell) may be in over her head, and Cami (Leah Pipes) finds herself face-to-face with a dangerous new threat.”

…And it’s ALSO a Thanksgiving episode.

Sleepy Hollow (9PM, FOX)

Fall finale: Ichabod vs. The Mummy!

Haven (10PM, FOX)

Also, something terrible happens to Clara...

“Rocket is abducted and taken back to his home planet, Half World, where he gets caught up in a revolution of evolved former test subject animals.”

Svengoolie Presents The Deadly Mantis (10PM, MeTV)

“Well, we know it can’t be an animal, because every known animal has a bony structure. In fact, the reptile structure is bony— and, gentlemen, even birds have a bony skeleton.”

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Blast to the Past (11AM, NICKELODEON)

“Told in the style of Playmates ToysHalf-Shell Heroes Preschool Segment action figure line, the storyline finds the Turtles going back in time to the Jurassic Era, where they encounter friendly dinosaurs from the past and dangerous aliens from the future who have a nefarious plan of their own. However, things get even more complicated when Triceratons ,Bebop and Rocksteady show up!”

“Told in the style of Playmates Toys’ Half-Shell Heroes Preschool Segment action figure line.” I had to read that twice, too.

This episode is called “Heads Up” and that’s almost certainly a decapitation reference.

“Phil 2 finds himself on Tandy’s level when he causes problems with the group.”
