Your favorite fish-faced Star Wars creature is living large, in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Captain Ackbar plays a key role in the new battle-heavy season opener. And we've got a thrilling new clip from the episode!

There are also new episodes of Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Young Justice, The Vampire Diaries and Doctor Who. Plus John Connor himself, Thomas Dekker, is playing a man-witch in The Secret Circle. We've got tons of clips and sneak peeks from all of the above, plus Brent Spiner on Alphas and more Kate Mulgrew on Warehouse 13. Television is here for you!

Cartoon Network's only new cartoons tonight are a new Johnny Test at 7 PM and a new Mad at 8:30 PM.

But meanwhile, Syfy has a brand new Eureka at 8 PM, "One Small Step." We've got your first clip from the episode, and here's the synopsis:

When an explosion in the Astraeus lab accidentally sends Andy to Titan, the team must devise a plan to save him before it's too late.

That's followed at 9 PM by a new Warehouse 13, "Shadows," in which the season-long "villains" arc heats up.

While the team investigates the case of a woman who can disintegrate anyone who angers her, Pete and his mother deal with their issues after being reunited.

And then at 10, Syfy has a new Alphas, with some awesome guest stars: Rebecca Mader (Lost) and Brent Spiner (Star Trek: TNG). Now that Alphas is in the same universe as Warehouse 13, could we be seeing Brent Spiner meet Kate Mulgrew soon? Check out a sneak peek at left.

Plus there's another episode of MTV's cops-vs.-the-undead show Death Valley at 10:30 PM.

Cartoon Network is serving up new episodes of Scaredy Squirrel and Looney Tunes Show, starting at 7 PM.

At 10 PM, Science has another episode of Dark Matters: Twisted But True, hosted by Fringe's John Noble. Segments include "Honey I Nuked the Planet" and "Full-Body Transplant." And let's rejoice that the real Fringe is coming back next week.

The Vampire Diaries is back! The CW's most mind-boggling supernatural soap opera returns, with "It's My Party." And is it any surprise that the episode synopsis lists approximately 1000 subplots?

On the morning of Elena's (Nina Dobrev) 18th birthday, Caroline (Candice Accola) is busy planning a party, but Elena is focused on searching for any clues that might help her discover where Stefan (Paul Wesley) is. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is also searching for Stefan, while trying to protect Elena and keep her from doing anything that would draw Klaus' (Joseph Morgan) attention. Meanwhile, Klaus and Stefan are busy trailing a werewolf named Ray Sutton (guest star David Gallagher, "Super 8"). Now working at the Mystic Grill along with Matt (Zach Roerig), Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) is struggling to understand why he keeps seeing the ghosts of Vicki (guest star Kayla Ewell) and Anna (guest star Malese Jow) since he was brought back to life by Bonnie's (Kat Graham) magic. Meanwhile, Alaric (Matt Davis) does his best to watch over Elena and Jeremy, while dealing with his grief over Jenna's death. Finally, Caroline and Tyler (Michael Trevino) face a new and unexpected challenge.

At 8:30, there's a new Problem Solverz on the Cartoon Network.

Then at 9 PM, The CW has the pilot for The Secret Circle, which we saw at San Diego Comic-Con — and it's jam-packed with cheesy goodness and sapphic car immolation. Here's the synopsis:

FROM EXECUTIVE PRODUCER KEVIN WILLIAMSON ("THE VAMPIRE DIARIES") COMES A STORY ABOUT A SECRET CIRCLE OF FRIENDS WITH EXTRAORDINARY POWERS - Cassie Blake's (Britt Robertson, "Life Unexpected") world is turned upside down after her mother dies in a mysterious accident, forcing Cassie to move in with her loving grandmother Jane (Ashley Crow, "Heroes") in the small town of Chance Harbor, Washington. While trying to adjust to her new life, Cassie is quickly befriended by Diana Meade (Shelley Hennig, "Days of Our Lives"), a sweet-natured classmate who offers to show her around and introduces her to mean-girl Faye (Phoebe Tonkin, "H2O: Just Add Water"), her sidekick Melissa (Jessica Parker Kennedy, "50/50," "Smallville") and Cassie's next door neighbor Nick (Louis Hunter, "Out of the Blue").

Things get complicated when she meets Adam (Thomas Dekker, "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles"), Diana's boyfriend, with whom she feels an instant and powerful connection. Upon meeting one of her mother's childhood friends, Dawn Chamberlain (Natasha Henstridge, "Species"), the school principal and Faye's mother, Cassie begins to wonder why her mother never spoke of her hometown. When strange and dangerous things begin to happen, Cassie's new friends are forced to tell her their secret – they are all witches and her arrival will complete the Circle. However, the Circle has not been drawn together again by chance – Diana's father, Charles Meade (Gale Harold, "Queer as Folk," "Desperate Housewives") has plans of his own for the group.

Then at 10 PM, there's another new Ancient Aliens on the History Channel.

And at 10:30 PM, there's the third season opener of Archer on FX, "Heart of Archness, Part 1."

Malory hires an adventurer named Rip Riley (voice of Patrick Warburton) to find Archer, who has been missing since his fiancée was murdered on their wedding day. Rip finds him on a tropical island, but Archer has no interest in leaving.

Cartoon Network comes back strong, with a slew of your favorite animated series. First up at 6 PM: Batman: Brave and the Bold, "Scorn of the Star Sapphire!" Guest-starring Hal Jordan, aka Green Lantern! Sure, this episode has already aired in the U.K., but it's new to us Americans.

Batman and Hal Jordan work to take down Green Lantern's greatest enemy, Star Sapphire.

Here's a second clip:

Then at 6:30 PM, there's an all-new Young Justice, "Targets."

Red Arrow's battle to prevent the League of Shadows from inciting a war pits him against the world's most dangerous assassins - and allies him with someone more dangerous still. Too bad Aqualad couldn't convince him to ask the Team for help….

At 7 PM, there's a new Generator Rex, "Night Falls." Apparently the whole episode already leaked online and you can read a summary here, but I can't find a brief, non-spoilery synopsis.

And at 7:30 PM, there's a new Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, "The Purge."

Old George, THE Forever Knight, re-ignites a war against all aliens on Earth!

And then at 8 PM, there's a full hour of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, with "Water Wars." Featuring Captain Ackbar, the future Admiral Ackbar. And judging from this all-new clip, it looks like this storyline will see the return of all-out clone combat, too. Here's an ecstatic early review of the episode, with tons of spoilers.

Also at 8: Disney has a new Wizards of Waverly Place, followed by a new A.N.T. Farm.

And a third option at 8 is a new Jurassic C.S.I. on the National Geographic Channel.

Then at 10 PM, there's a new episode of Haven on Syfy, "Who, What, Where, Wendigo?"

And at left is the long preview we watched at San Diego Comic-Con.

And then at 11 PM, Disney XD has a new (to Americans) episode of Naruto Shippuden, "The Two Charms."

At 8 PM, Discovery Channel has a new Curiosity, "How Will The World End?" Here's hoping they provide a definitive answer, since it would be nice to know. That way, we can plan ahead.

And at 10 PM, there's a new Breaking Bad on AMC, "Salud."

At 11:45 PM, Cartoon Network's Adult Swim has another new Squidbillies.
