Monsters, scares, and gore can only take a horror movie so far. Sound and music are also essential—which is why this brand new box set of the scores to the Nightmare on Elm Street films is such a perfect idea.

New Nightmare is a true horror movie classic. It only gets the credit from hardcore fans, but most people either don’t remember it or haven’t seen it. The movie gave the franchise the respectful end of a well told story that it deserved. I can’t rave about it enough.

This artwork is beautiful, btw.
