We know that the Russo brothers the guys who brought us the fantastic Captain America: The Winter Soldier, will be directing Infinity War Parts I and II, and that this is a good thing. But now the screenwriters may have chosen, and we should be equally excited about them.
According to Badass Digest, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely will write both movies. They worked on Winter Soldier, which was of course awesome, as well as Thor: The Dark World (which I personally liked better than Winter Soldier, but will fully admit is not technically as good). But here's why I'm really excited — Markus and McFeely created the Agent Carter TV series, which is absolutely one of my favorite live-action Marvel products of all time.
I wouldn't have minded if Joss Whedon had stuck around to direct the Infinitty War films, but between Markus, McFeely and the Russos, I think Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is in extremely good hands.
