Meanwhile, Black Flash will indeed be a part of the show, according to Andrew Kreisberg:
You might be seeing him on multiple shows. He will [be] the classic comic book Grim Reaper aspect. It’s just going to be on multiple shows. He’s a classic character and we have storylines on multiple shows that fit having him return. There’s something so scary about him, even scarier than when he was just a man because now he is the Grim Reaper, he is like the Devil. How do you stop the Devil? It presents an interesting challenge for the heroes of the respective shows in which he appears.
However, Teddy Sears isn’t necessarily locked down to play his own skeleton, Kreisberg added:
I’m not sure. Teddy is pretty busy with [24: Legacy].
Meanwhile, the Music Meister has been confirmed to be the villain of the Flash-Supergirl crossover musical episode, as if it could have been anyone else.. Whether he will played by Neil Patrick Harris still remains to be seen. [TV Guide]

Meanwhile, episode 16 of the season is titled “ Mother’s Little Helper.”
The Handmaid’s Tale
The series will do away with the white supremacist element of the Republic of Gilead from the original novel. Executive producer Bruce Miller tells TV Line it was “a huge discussion with Margaret Atwood, and in some ways it is a ‘TV vs. book’ thing.”
After all, on the printed page, It’s easy to say ‘they sent off all the people of color,’ but seeing it all the time on a TV show is harder. Also, honestly, what’s the difference between making a TV show about racists and making a racist TV show? Why would we be covering [the story of handmaid Offred, played by Mad Men‘s Elisabeth Moss], rather than telling the story of the people of color who got sent off to Nebraska?
The reboot will be a “standalone” series with few references to the original, according to CW President Mark Pedowitz. [TV Guide]
Madchen Amick says the returning characters have changed quite a bit over the course of time between the new series and where the show left off:
You don’t want to give it away. Some of the characters aren’t where you think they might be 25 years later. We broke the mold for television. We’re about to break it again.
Here’s a new TV spot for the show, featuring some pondering on the implications of the age old “Is it a bird, is it a plane?” refrain.
A brief new teaser for the show has been released.
Zombie armies abound in a new synopsis for the show’s third season.

Live and Clive investigate the murder of a zombie family that may just set off an all-out zombie-human war. Ravi’s former boss at the Center for Disease Control shows up in Seattle to investigate the Max Rager massacre. Blaine finds living as a human with no memory of his evil past is more blessing than curse. Peyton pulls at a thread in one of her cases that may lead to the villain that’s pulling all the strings. This season, Liv will eat the brains and take on the traits of a dominatrix, a JACKASS-style stuntman, an office gossip, a pre-school teacher, a conspiracy theorist, a dungeon master, and many more.
