Trailer FrenzyA special place to find the newest trailers for movies and TV shows you're craving.

In 1994, king of the shlock moviemakers Roger Corman was hired to produce a Fantastic Four movie with almost no resources in order for the Neue Constantin film company just to keep the FFfilm rights. Supposedly the film was never meant to be seen — but this new documentary argues otherwise.

As you can see for this trailer for Doomed! The Untold Story of Roger Corman's Fantastic Four, a lot of the cast and crew tried their hardest to make a good movie (despite the insane month-long shoot time and the fact the budget was under $1 million). The story has always been that the film was only made to keep the rights, and wasn't supposed to be released; as these many interviews attest, that doesn't seem to have been the case at all. In fact, it seems like a belated excuse for making (what was understandably) a crappy movie.

I have to say, I like this trend of documentaries exploring failed and/or insane superhero movies that didn't happen. Doomed! is hitting the festival circuit soon, but we'll keep you up-to-date on any wider release it may receive.
