The BBC has announced the title of this year's Doctor Who Christmas special will be "Last Christmas," perhaps a point in favor of the rumors that it will be Jenna Coleman's final outing as the Twelfth Doctor's companion Clara. Maybe Nick Frost's Santa Claus will hitch a ride on the TARDIS for a while, hmm?

To be completely honest, I'd be delighted if "Last Christmas" meant this as the last Doctor Who Christmas special period, at least for a few years. The show has pretty much run through every single bit of Christmas iconography out there at this point, right? I mean, except for the birth of Jesu —- never mind. I don't want to give showrunner Steven Moffat any ideas for next year.
