So has anyone ever found out why crop circles started being a thing? I've never heard a story about anyone coming out and saying, "Yeah, we were all about doing a hoax, and it was awesome! Would hoax again." Within my lifetime it's gone from being a complete mystery to mostly explained, so there must be someone out there who knew a guy who knew the first crop circle guy or something, right?
