It's a strange week for cartoons - a two-time NBA champ takes the place of a fan favorite actor on Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fight the pizza topping of their dreams (a giant psychedelic mushroom), and if you close your eyes for long enough during certain scenes of Robocop, you would swear your favorite How to Train a Dragon lead turned into an evil marketing genius. Embrace the weirdness.
Archer along with Rick & Morty are off this week, but Archer will return February 24th.
As always - minor spoilers ahead!
The Ponytones are in town for a concert, but one of their members is AWOL. Will Fluttershy have the chops to fill the open spot and save the show?
Some fresh metal arrives in Berk thanks to Trader Johann, but a new group of dragons, the Smothering Smokebreaths, steal it all to make new nests.
Also, if you find yourself bored this weekend, go checkout Hiccup in the Robocop reboot.
Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat subs for the uber-great Idris Elba as the voice of Heimdall this weekend. Why is Heimdall on HatAoS? We have Skaar to thank for that, as the son of the Hulk accidentally kick off Ragnarok.
Malekith, the big bad from Thor: The Dark World, also makes an appearance. No clip is available at the time of this posting, but once one appears, I'll pop it in.
Is the Flame Princess evil enough to rule? Probably not, but that's the question at hand this week after the Flame Lord and Flame King steal the throne away.
Casey Jones continues his stint on TMNT, teaming up with April to investigate claims of mutant mammals living in the sewers and the giant, nightmare-inducing mushroom behind the strange visions.
