The mainstream media has finally realized that climate change is real, and that including deniers in their "balanced" coverage is the same thing as including flat-Earthers in an article about globes. So says Phil Plait over at Slate.

I propose a new approach to the question of anthropogenic climate change. Instead of "it's happening and if you disagree you are an idiot" vs. "it isn't happening and if you disagree you are an idiot," how about we go with "It's probably happening but it's impossible to completely absolutely prove. How about we behave as though it is, because even if it isn't the things we would do to fix it are good for the world anyways."
