The Little Prince Movie Looks Just As Magical As You'd Imagine

Trailer FrenzyA special place to find the newest trailers for movies and TV shows you're craving.

The Little Prince is one of those stories where, even if you don’t know it, you’ve heard of it. Originally written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, it’s been adapted into all kinds of different versions. Next year, it’s getting a star-studded Hollywood animated treatment.

The new version of The Little Prince opens March 18 from director Mark Osborne, who did Kung Fu Panda. He’s got an amazing voice cast: Jeff Bridges, Rachel McAdams, Paul Rudd, Marion Cotillard, James Franco, Benicio del Toro, Ricky Gervais, Bud Cort, Paul Giamatti, Albert Brooks and Mackenzie Foy. That’s almost as impressive as this simple, magical little trailer.

I started watching this, and thought: ugh, some weird commercial for something else first... Hmm, that’s weird, I can’t skip the commercial. This isn’t the trailer I’m looking for? Skipped a bit: still some random thing that has nothing to do with the little prince? Then I spotted the fox and thought: “what the hell is this?” I then proceeded to watching the trailer completely and can say I won’t be watching this movie; even though I loved the book...

Why is this trailer 90% about a kid that has nothing to do with the original story?
