So far Netflix has released two teasers for its upcoming adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. And even so, it turns out, we haven’t seen anything yet.

A longer trailer is now online and it’s filled with footage from the entire eight-episode season. Footage that looks like Tim Burton is coming to Netflix, and has more scope and imagination than the already quite good 2004 movie. Check it out.

That trailer has everything. Plenty of Neil Patrick Harris’ Count Olaf dressing in funny disguises, lots of cameos, some cool mysteries, and more. I wasn’t really planning on watching this on January 13 but, after this trailer, I’m reconsidering.

You say Tim Burton, I say a hint of Wes Anderson.

The first trailer was “cool” this one however makes me super excited! NPH Olaf looks better this time around, now that I have some time seeing him in action.

I cannot quite place all the characters though, it’s been a long time. It certainly seems more diverse then the books led on I think. Perfectly happy with that!
