Here it is, the fist "official" glimpse into Vincenzo Natali's vision of William Gibson's Neuromancer world. And it's just great. Sure it's not much to go on, but it's a gritty-looking finger, with an invitation to jack in. Sold.


We're still pretty thrilled the director of Splice is on board for this movie, and this latest poser spotted at the American Film Market has us excited. Please, oh please, be good.

Sorry to hijack, but this springs to mind every time I see Neuromancer mentioned: does a "Television-Colored Sky" mean the same thing now as it did when the book was written? I'm 40; to me it means late-night-dead-uhf-channel-static a la Poltergeist. For a 30 or a 20 year old does it mean the same? Or do you picture featureless electric blue? And if so, what, if anything, does it evoke for you?
