The first Divergent clip is from the best part of the entire book

If you're a fan of Veronica Roth's Divergent series, then you should be pretty excited about the first clip from the movie. If not, then just know you're getting a great look at the chemistry between the two leads. Spoilers ahead.

Here's the tattoo-tracing scene from the book, in which characters Tris and Four get to know each other a whole lot better. Does the steam work for you? It's important we buy what these two are selling, or there's no future for this series as a franchise.

Directed by Neil Burger (Limitless), Divergent hits theaters on March 21, 2014.

Ugh, isn't she supposed to be 16? I know they're both older, but I haven't read the books, I've just seen a lot of chatter about this movie lately. So she's 16 is he also supposed to be 16-17? Because while Kemal Pamuk is many, many, sexy things, is not in any way teenager-ish. With all the sleazy bullshit being glorified in YA as "romance" lately I'm super not surprised to see statutory rape thrown in there too. In the last few years alone I can think of; possible incest, stalking, abuse (physical and psychological, yea!) and now this. Where is sci-fi's Judy Blume? She would deliver some serious sexual awakening with none of this gag inducing crap. Again I haven't read the book so apologies if there is a level of nuance I'm missing here.
