The Fantastic Four Trailer Is Here, And It's Not At All What We Expected

Trailer FrenzyA special place to find the newest trailers for movies and TV shows you're craving.

I'm not sure that this first trailer for Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot is fantastic, exactly, but it's certainly intriguing. It seems like it's trying to completely hide the fact it's a superhero movie, revealing practically nothing about the heroes, their powers, or the evil blogger they'll be facing.

In fact, the whole trailer reminds us all of Interstellar, as it seems to be focusing solely on the whole science adventure that Reed and the others will be going on, and nothing else. This isn't at all inappropriate for the FF, but it's almost impressive how little this trailer actually reveals. Here's the official synopsis for the film; see if you get any of this from the video above:

Four young outsiders teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

Yeah, us neither. Anyways, color us intrigued. Except for the "FANT4STIC" bit. That's terrible.

God damn Nolan making everyone think super heroes should be dark and gritty, ruining the fun for those of us who enjoy heroes being heroes in colorful costumes fighting ridiculous enemies. Thank the maker for Joss Whedon.
