Batman: The Brave and the Bold comes back tonight, and we're raising the Bat-signal on your desktop to celebrate. There is nothing cooler than having the Dark Knight on your computer screen, protecting your machine from the scum of Gotham City.

We combed through hundreds of Bat-themed desktop wallpapers online, to find just the most awesome examples, and this is what we came up with. Here are 20+ awesome Batman wallpapers!

Just remember: People who use your computer without asking are, by and large, a superstitious and cowardly lot. Also, if you know the artists behind some of these images, please let us know in comments. We've searched and it's often hard to identify who created something originally.

Why does Tony Daniel go uncredited for his Batman R.I.P. images? Specifically, "Ready when you are" and the first "Batman and Robin".

Seriously, if you're gonna get stuff from the Internet for an article, at least give proper credit at all times, guys.
