The CW is really digging these DC shows. How much? Well, besides renewing The Flash and Arrow for next season, the network executives are already discussing a show based on Brandon Routh's The Atom as well as an animated series based on occasional Justice League member Vixen.

The Atom shouldn't really be a surprise to anyone, as it seems like the most logical next step in the CW-DC progression. At the recent Television Critics Association press tour, Arrow executive producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg admitted they were discussing a "general concept," while WB president Mark Pedowitz said, "Could there be another hour in that universe? Possibly. As long as there's no audience fatigue." Given the ratings and renewals of Flash and Arrow, it would not seem like the CW believes fatigue has set in quite yet.

As for Vixen, it's definitely coming... but on the CW Seed site, as an animated series. But it will definitely be part of the Arrow-verse, given that 1) it's being overseen by Guggenheim and 2) this promo pic, which clearly shows Vixen hanging out with Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen and Grant Gustin's Barry Allen in their superhero togs.

Here's another promo pic:

All right, folks. Now that we've got a plethora of superhero shows on the air, it's time for step 2 — making sure they're not all white dude. Let's get Vixen up to primetime a.s.a.p., shall we?
