The coolest character from Phantom Menace is showing up on Clone Wars

Qui-Gon Jinn may be dead, but he's not gone. Liam Neeson is bringing back the Master Jedi on Star Wars: Clone Wars by voicing the CG character (who appears in Obi-Wan's visions). Watch his return now!

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Neeson will reprise his role as Jedi Master on Star Wars: Clone Wars on January 28th and Feb. 11th on the Cartoon Network. The character will be involved in a three-part arc that focuses around Anakin and his destiny.

But, but...then it doesn't make any sense for Yoda to tell Obi Wan at the end of Episode III — that is, after the events of Clone Wars — that he's learned to communicate with Qui-Gon.

I just can't believe the good people at Lucasfilm would sacrifice consistency and sensibleness simply to pander to fanboys.
