Every year, the Center for Cartoon Studies does something a little different with their diploma. Rather than a regular, stodgy affair with formal writing, they go all out to make it awesome.

The Center for Cartoon Studies is an MFA program dedicated to cartooning and comic book art, and every year, they draw up a new diploma that’s entirely fitting for their graduates. When the class of 2016 walked at their commencement ceremony yesterday, they received a really amazing diploma.

As an aside, I remember watching a documentary on Walt Disney in which they chronicled the time when the cartoonists union at Disney went on strike. All I could think about is that you could not choose a worse union to oppose as they’re going to, unequivocally, have the best protest signs ever made.
