While I'll quibble with their inclusion of the Segway — Gob Bluth rocked it on Arrested DevelopmentTime magazine's survey of the worst tech ideas ever is a damning look at decades of failed innovation.

There are always things you can argue with on a list like this: hydrogen airships were really cool until they started blowing up; autotune kept a generation of pop stars sounding good before Kanye West and T-Pain made everything sound like Deceptirock; and if not for spam email, I'd never have met that lovely Nigerian prince. But Time's list is a pretty comprehensive account of a century of bad ideas.


And they're totally right: FourSquare is as bad as pop-up ads.
