The visuals in Zack Snyder's hyper-stylized Sucker Punch certainly have our attention (what with robots, dragons, and Jon Hamm). But what about the story? This featurette attempts to explain the surreal, girls-behind-bars film, with new footage.

Hmmm, OK we're still not 100% sure what's happening, and if Hamm is supposed to be evil or not. But we're still totally wrapped up in the insanity that is happening inside every little frame.

Here's the synopsis for those still lost (like me):

A young girl is institutionalized by her wicked stepfather. Retreating to an alternative reality as a coping strategy, she envisions a plan which will help her escape from the facility.

Sucker Punch hits theaters March 25, 2011.

I guess I'm in the minority here. It's pretty visuals for sure, but looks absolutely soulless.
