Sigourney Weaver reunites with Ridley Scott for a Biblical fantasy

Ridley Scott is leaving the far future for the distant past, with an epic based on the Old Testament. And why not? The future is dark and full of terrible albino ab monsters. Wait until you hear who's starring in his Moses movie, Exodus.

THR is reporting that Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton have been cast to play Moses and Ramses. With Sigourney Weaver as Tuya, Moses' adopted mother and the real mother of Ramses. John Turturro will play her husband. There's rumors that Aaron Paul may play a "Hebrew slave," but we'll just have to wait for confirmation. Thus making one very white cast, for a movie about Egypt.

Oh well — let's just listen to the Prince of Egypt soundtrack instead.
