Trailer FrenzyA special place to find the newest trailers for movies and TV shows you're craving.

Last night, Fox premiered two short TV ads giving us our first proper look at the triumphant return of Fox Mulder and Dana Scully in The X-Files. But now they’ve released an extended cut of the trailer with new footage—and damn, Scully just doesn’t want to believe in Mulder any more.

The trailer is largely the same as the two spots, but there’s a few new snippets of footage in there—an entirely new opening, this time discussing a conspiracy about a terror attack on U.S. that is actually a secret attack by a multi-national force using alien technology. You know who loves that stuff? Fox goddamn Mulder.

Less excited, is Scully, and we get to see more of the two tussling with getting back in the alien weirdness business. While we’re sad to see that they’re not together any more, it warms the cockles of our hearts to see Mulder and Scully being skeptic and believer again, all these years later.

The X-Files returns January 24th, 2016.
