The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1

The Hunger Games website has a single script page available in a scrollable presentation and fansite Down With the Capitol has transcribed it:

Int. corridor outside Command – 013 – Moments later

Katniss walks quickly, and Boggs moves alongside her. Her fists are clenched. He notices her angry tears. On his normally implacable face, it's obvious he's not used to displays of emotion. He's certainly not used to anyone like Katniss.

Int. Coin's meeting room – Command – 013 – Moments later

President Coin

Maybe you should have rescued the boy instead.

No, no – listen to me: there's no one else who can do this.

President Coin

I don't see how she's going to be any use to us.

Make it personal for her. Remind her who the enemy is.

President Coin

We explained all that -

There's explaining and there's showing. Let her see what the Capitol did to Twelve.

President Coin

She can't handle that: she's not even capable of listening.

What other option do you have? People don't always show up how you want them to be, Madame President. But that anger – it's what we want. We need to unite the people out there who've done nothing but kill each other in the arena for seventy-five years. We can't do that without a lightning rod. The people will follow her. She's the face of this revolution. Let her see it, let her see her home.

It'll put some color back in those cheeks.

And here's an interview where Jennifer Lawrence talks about the massive scope of Mockingjay, and what it's like for Katniss to wake up in District 13, in a totally new environment. [Screen Slam]

Terminator: Genesis

If you're wondering how the current Arnold Schwarzenegger could be playing a T-800 in this film, he gave MTV an answer:

Terminator deals a lot with time travel, so there will be a younger T-800, and then what that model does later on when it gets reprogrammed, and who gets a hold of him. So it will be all kinds of interesting twists in the movie, but I feel so good.

... The way that the character is written, it's a machine underneath. It's this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator's flesh ages, just like any other human being's flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages.

While there are rumors that James Gunn will take over directing Ant-Man from Edgar Wright, Gunn seemed to dismiss that story on Twitter. [Slashfilm]

Will Smith has exited this movie about a near future in which some "Briliants" have psychic abilities — Smith would have played an FBI agent who uses his psychic powers to track terrorists, but now the film is scrambling to find a new lead before this summer's production start date. Julius Onah is still signed up to direct the script by David Koepp, based on the novel by Marcus Sakey. [The Wrap]

While Clark Gregg is pretty sure Coulson's not showing up in Avengers: Age of Ultron (with the caveat that "the only way I ever hear about stuff like that is I get a weird phone message with not the right number of numbers on it and somebody says, 'We need to talk to you.'), he would like to cross over into the Netflix TV series:

I'd be really disappointed if I don't get to show up in New York for Daredevil, or Iron Fist was a huge favorite of mine in comic books as a kid. I've had more than my share so I shouldn't be greedy but it would be a huge geekout moment for me if I got to meet Daniel Rand.

Doctor Who

Singer Foxes will guest-star in an upcoming episode. She says it was all a coincidental meeting that made it happen:

I can't believe I'm actually going to be in an episode of Doctor Who! Especially as it all came about from a chance meeting. I was playing a gig and got chatting to the show's production team who'd been watching my performance. I was telling them how much I loved Doctor Who and next thing they invited me to be on it. I couldn't think of a better place to make my acting debut than on one of the UK's most iconic shows.

As for what she'll be doing on the show, all Steven Moffat would say is: "Let's just say, the Doctor is finally catching up on his phone calls." [Daily Star]

Sleepy Hollow

Sakinaa Jaffey (House of Cards) will be recurring as Sleepy Hollow's new sheriff, Leena Reyes. Reyes is described as being "smart, forceful, highly trained and commanding" but also far more antagonistic to Abbie and Ichabod than Frank Irving was.

Also joining the cast is Matt Barr (One Tree Hill), who will play bounty hunter Nick Hawley. Hawley shows up to help the team on a case and is "a loner whose education is masked by a rough-and-tumble demeanor." Could Hawley be the love interest for Abbie that the creators have hinted is coming this season? [Bustle]

The Walking Dead

Here's a set photo that seems to confirm the rumors that Seth Gilliam is playing Father Gabriel. [SpoilerTV]

Beauty and the Beast

Austin Basis, who plays J.T., gave a preview of the upcoming six episodes:

While dealing with what we're dealing with in Season 2, as a whole, the episodes are a throwback to the episodes of Season 1, where it's Vincent and Catherine against the world, and then J.T. and Tess, and Gabe, too, 'cause he's part of the Scooby Gang… it's a real old-school kind of coming together for a single cause — saving Vincent, getting him out of jail, and trying to find out who is responsible, and putting them to the test, making sure that they pay for what they've done.

He also said that he's been hearing that season 3 would have 13 episodes in it. [K Site TV]

What a lesson in posters!

The Sin City poster is DAMN sexy. I fully admit that Eva Green is a gorgeous woman with an amazing figure and she looks amazing naked. I could see myself getting that poster, dependant on the finished movie.

On the other hand, that Left Behind poster looked like I made it in MS Paint using my non-dominant hand. It looks so godawful. And stop giving bad toupees to Nic Cage! If you must give him hair give him good hair, at least.
