Return to Narnia with Voyage of The Dawn Treader's first trailer

Check out the first ever trailer for the third installment of the Chronicles of Narnia, Voyage of The Dawn Treader — now with more Jesus Lion. Watch very closely and you'll see the first ever monopod!

The film which is based of the novels by C.S. Lewis, brings back sexy long-haired King Caspian and the kids who stumbled through the wardrobe many centuries ago. Well only half of them this time — Edmund and Lucy. But don't worry, Peter is in the trailer, but he is sadly not riding a unicorn into battle.

Official synopsis:

Lucy and Edmund Pevensie return to Narnia with their cousin Eustace where they meet up with Prince Caspian for a trip across the sea aboard the royal ship The Dawn Treader. Along the way they encounter dragons, dwarves, merfolk, and a band of lost warriors before reaching the edge of the world.

In theaters December 10th 2010.

Wow. The hatred in the comments is especially vicious today. I for one love the Narnia books, and liked the Narnia movies. Then again, I'm a Christian, so perhaps that's why. Either way, they're good books, and good movies. If you don't want to see the themes in them then fine. Ignore the biblical themes. If you do, don't hate them.

I mean good grief people, Lord of the Rings had a lot of the same themes, Gandalf represents Christ, Sauron the devil, etc. and I never see people ranting and raving about those...

All I'm saying is, they're just movies, seeing people saying that Lewis should "rot in hell" makes me sad.
