Even if you haven’t read Ernie Cline’s Ready Player One, odds are you’re aware it’s overflowing with pop culture references. The main characters literally study pop culture to try and find the keys to the world’s biggest fortune. Steven Spielberg is currently turning it into a movie.

And yet, because that movie is still two years away, there’s not a ton of merchandise out there. Enter artist Harlam Elam, who was commissioned to do a limited edition screenprint based on the book. Check it out:

“I wanted the art itself to look like a 3 tiered game inspired by Monument Valley in order to reflect the core themes of the book,” Elam said. “I had great fun stuffing the print with as many relevant pop-culture references as I could.”

The poster, a 12 x 24 inch, 1o color screenprint will be available in the next few weeks via Elam’s Twitter.

What’s even cooler is that the artist was able to get every single poster signed by Cline himself.

Here are a few detailed shots of the poster, revealing some of the more subtle (and not so subtle) references to the book.

And here’s Elam’s “art board” of inspiration.
