The first issue of Marvel's adaptation of Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game hits stores tomorrow - but if you can't wait that long, you're in luck. We've got an exclusive preview of the book's first ten pages to whet your palette.The five issue series, Ender's Game: Battle School, is adapted by New X-Men and X-Force writer Chris Yost and artist Pasqual Ferry, is only the first in a line adapting Card's famous novels; it'll be joined in December by the first issue of Ender's Shadow: Battle School by X-Men: Legacy, Lucifer and Hellblazer writer Mike Carey and artist Sebastian Fiumara. Like I was about the film, I don't think that Ender's Game NEEDS to be anything but a book. The type of vivid picture of Ender and Battle School and all of the psychological conflict depicted in the book gets so limited when you try to put a definite image to it. This just seems like a Cliff Notes version.

Just read the book.
