In Latvia, a group of bicycle enthusiasts decided to show the city of Riga what it would be like if every bicycle turned into a car. So they built these amazing contraptions, and reminded everyone that cars are what cause traffic jams.

Bicyclists have often used creative demonstrations to encourage drivers to switch over to a mode of transit that is less polluting and better for traffic. 12Joseph Stromberg at Vox describes the scene:

These photos, which the European cycling group Let's Bike It posted to the social network Vk.com, show a group of bikers in Riga that strapped rickety car-sized constructions to their bikes to show how much space they'd take up if they were actually driving one.

Did these guys stop to think that, by wearing those car resembling contraptions, it may actually increase the traffic jam scenario, thereby proving that weird things on the highways cause traffic jams? I laud their creativity, but wonder at the safeness of it.
