We've all seen our fair share of Star Wars art (not that we're complaining), but we've never seen it quite like this, and never featuring these characters.

Plasticine Tatooine: Stories from the Star Wars Second String is illustrator Elliott Quince's awesome take on some of Star Wars's less well-recognized — but no less important — characters; just imagine how different the fate of the galaxy would have been if Uncle Owen had picked up R5-D4 instead of R2!

Quince says:

What I've decided to do, to make this project different, is to select a bunch of the more random cast members and imagine how bitter they must have been at not making it big, how badly they were treated on set or how cruelly their lives have panned out since the movies were released.

And just to spice things up a bit, he went ahead and captured these characters' essence with plasticine.
