Tony Stark can’t stop tinkering. That’s why anytime Iron Man shows up in a Marvel movie, he’s inevitably sporting a new suit of armor (I suppose merchandise might also play a small role.) The upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming certainly won’t be an exception, as Tony Stark has a brand new Mark XLVII suit he’ll be wearing—and we finally have a good look at it, courtesy of... the merchandise.

We don’t know much about what makes the Mark XLVII different from previous Iron Man suits but knowing Tony Stark, but comics fans will recognize the heavily gray torso as reminiscent of Ultimate Iron Man from the Ultimate Universe. Meanwhile. the toy’s official description of the collectible only says this:

In reference to the appearance of Iron Man’s new armor in the upcoming Marvel Studios blockbuster, the Mark XLVII (Movie Promo Edition) Power Pose collectible figure is sophisticatedly crafted and designed with movie-accurate quality. It features a meticulously sculpted sleek, streamline armor and trapezoid-shaped indent around the arc reactor. Equipped with 28 LED light-up points throughout the body, it is also given the iconic red and gold color featured mostly on the helmet and shoulder, as well as the distinctive silver and dark silver colored painting on the mid-section of the armor. This Power Pose collectible figure also comes with articulated head and arms, interchangeable fists and repulsor palms, and a figure base.

Not much to go on there—just the usual, run-of-the-mill repulsor palms and flying gauntlets—but, like all Hot Toys, it’s going to be a beautiful figure anyway.

Spider-Man Homecoming, co-starring Robert Downey Jr., opens July 7.

I hate it. The silver clashes horribly with the rest of the suit. I can only assume the reason it looks like that is that it’s unfinished, like the Vulture does something crazy and Tony has to use the suit even though they haven’t finished painting it yet.

Also, did everyone forget that there was an actual narrative reason the suit is painted red and gold?
